Northern Bay Sands, May 2007

The second paddle of 07 for us, we a paddle in Colinet a few weeks before, but I forgot my camera.

Northern Bay Sands has a great beach, with awesome surfing opportunities. We had a blast playing around in the surf. There was a bit of a swell outside the bay and it was a little windy, but we made the best of it. There are lots of cliffs inside this bay, including one with an eagle nest on the southern side. I didn't take a whole lot of pictures this trip.

Nice site! :)

I work for Baymount Outdoor Adventures as a tour guide (not working the day you visited)and our boss forwarded your e-mail. Thank you so much for taking the time to post the pics and your story.

PS - Ever kayak to Seal Cove in Cape Chignecto (Nova Scotia) ? It's only about a 2-3 hour paddle from Spicer's Cove to Seal Cove. You can reserve a camp site by the beach and "hang out" and "play". Watch the tides and waves though - It can be as rough/fun as it was at The Rocks. :)
